abstract |
(57) Abstract: To provide a novel magnetic polymer particle which is excellent in uniform dispersibility of a magnetic substance and does not elute iron ions in an aqueous medium, and a method for producing the magnetic polymer particle. SOLUTION: The magnetic polymer particles of the present invention are constituted by a magnetic material dispersedly contained (encapsulated) in a polymer composed of a copolymer of a specific mixed monomer. The production method of the present invention, a lipophilic treatment-treated magnetic material is dispersed in a specific hydrophobic monomer to prepare a monomer composition, and the monomer composition is emulsified and dispersed in an aqueous phase to form a suspension. It is characterized in that the obtained suspension is polymerized after adding a specific hydrophilic monomer. |
