abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide an agent for suppressing intimal hyperplasia, particularly a useful agent for the treatment and prevention of restenosis observed after coronary angioplasty. [Structure] General formula (1) (In the formula, X is an oxygen atom or general formula (2) (Wherein n represents an integer of 0 to 2), and R 1 is Represents a hydrogen atom or an acyl group, R 2 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group or a lower alkenyl group, and R 3 represents Represents a lower alkyl group, R 4 , R 5 , and R 6, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group which may have a substituent, and R 3 and R 4 are the same. May form a 5-membered ring, and R 5 and R 6 may together form a cycloalkyl group. However, in the case where the ring formed by R 3 and R 4 together is benzofuran or benzo [b] thiophene, R 6 does not exist) is contained as an active ingredient in the blood vessel.
