abstract | (57) Abstract: To provide a method for suppressing sludge formation in an acidic tin plating bath to a small amount even in the presence of iron (III) ions. SOLUTION: Phenols having a hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group at the o-position of a phenolic hydroxyl group are added to an acidic tin plating bath in an amount of 0.1 to 0.5 mol / l. As a result, it is possible to effectively suppress the generation of tin sludge caused by iron ions inevitably mixed in the plating bath. |
