abstract | (57) Abstract: A method for producing an α-olefin low polymer using a chromium-based catalyst, which is improved so that a by-product polymer can be efficiently separated by a compact process. -Providing an industrially advantageous method for producing an olefin low polymer. SOLUTION: In a low-polymerization reactor, a chromium-based catalyst comprising at least a combination of a chromium compound (a), a nitrogen-containing compound (b) and an alkylaluminum compound (c) is used and α in the presence of a reaction solvent. -Low polymerization of olefin, the resulting reaction solution is supplied to the degassing tower to recover unreacted α-olefin, and the reaction solution from the degassing tower is supplied to the product distillation tower to produce α- A process line from the outlet of the low polymerization reactor to the inlet of the product distillation column, which collects the olefin low polymer as a distillate and also collects the by-product polymer and the catalyst component together as a bottom liquid. In, the by-product polymer and the catalyst component are maintained in a dispersed state in the reaction liquid. |
