abstract (57) [Abstract] [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for molding a foam molded article, which is capable of molding a foam molded article of excellent quality with high work efficiency. SOLUTION: A foaming raw material is injected into a cavity 3 of a lower die 12 by using a molding die composed of an upper die 11 and a lower die 12, the upper die 11 is closed, and then the foaming raw material is foamed and a cavity 3 is formed. A method for forming a foamed molded product, in which the gas inside is released to integrally back the breathable sheet 74. The lower die 12 has a plurality of degassing grooves 120 on the periphery of the opening of the cavity 3. On the other hand, in the upper mold 11, the breathable sheet 4 is temporarily fixed to the portion facing the cavity 3. Further, the breathable sheet 4 is a gas vent groove 12 of the lower mold 12. An extension portion 42 for degassing is integrally provided at a portion facing 0.
