titleOfInvention | Thermal recording material and recording method for thermal recording material |
abstract | (57) Abstract: A thermal recording material which can easily be tamper-proofed and has excellent contrast between a fixing portion and an image portion, and a recording method therefor are provided. Further, the present invention provides a heat-sensitive recording material capable of multicolor recording, which is excellent in contrast, density and storability of each image area. A heat-sensitive recording material having one or a plurality of heat-sensitive recording layers on a support, wherein the heat-sensitive recording material contains an aromatic resin, a resin having a low acid value or no acid value, or a carbonyl group. A heat-sensitive recording material containing at least one water-insoluble resin selected from resins having an alicyclic unit. Alternatively, a heat-sensitive recording material in which a resin and a developer are mixed in a predetermined ratio, melted and allowed to cool, and the crystallized developer is not substantially contained in the mixed melt. A recording method in which recording with a low applied energy and fixing with a high applied energy are performed simultaneously on a heat-sensitive recording material using a thermal head. |
