abstract (57) Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To provide a lighting device capable of preventing deformation of an insect cover attached to a main body of a device and surely exhibiting an original insect-proof function. A partition wall 121 is an insect-proof cover 120 provided between a chassis 1 and a mounting surface A such as a ceiling, and encloses a power supply connection hole 11 formed in the chassis 1. One end of this partition wall is attached to the chassis 1, and the other end is provided with an arc-shaped top portion 129 at least a part of which has a curved sectional shape. This arc-shaped top portion 129 is attached to a mounting surface A such as a ceiling. It is characterized in that insects are prevented from entering the chassis 1 through the power supply connection hole 11 by being brought into contact with. Due to the guiding action of the arcuate top having a curved cross-section, the arcuate top comes into sliding contact with the opening of the packing box, so that the insect cover can be prevented from being deformed by being caught in the packing box.
