abstract (57) [Abstract] [Problem] Good dispersibility when added to resins, fibers, paints, cosmetics, etc., showing sufficient antibacterial properties even when added in a small amount. Moreover, it is an object of the present invention to obtain an antibacterial agent having excellent heat resistance and long-lasting effect. An antibacterial agent comprising a metal salt of polyaspartic acid having at least one selected from the group consisting of silver, copper and zinc as a metal is used.
