abstract |
(57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a conductive coating composition containing a solubilized conductive polyaniline which can be applied with a low coating amount using a general coating solvent. A) A complex of a protic acid and a polymeric polyaniline having a counterion that imparts conductivity to the composition, said complex having a Hansen polar solubility parameter of 12-18 MPa 1/2 and 5-14 MPa. A conductive coating composition comprising a solution of a complex dissolved in a first solvent having a Hansen hydrogen bond solubility parameter of 1/2 , and b) a film-forming binder dissolved in a second solvent. A conductive coating composition, and elements comprising same, wherein the total solids content in the composition is not more than 10% by weight and the weight ratio of the binder to the complex is at least 1: 1. |
