abstract (57) 【Abstract】 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce PHB from a microorganism without requiring an organic carbonic acid source or a reducing substance such as H 2 and to stably exist in cyanobacteria used for the method. Recombinant plasmids and transformed cyanobacteria Synechococcus spp. Containing the recombinant plasmids are provided. SOLUTION: An enzyme group consisting of β-ketothiolase, acetoacetyl CoA reductase and polyhydroxybutyrate polymerase derived from Alcaligenes eutrophus, which has a region required for replication in cyanobacteria and has a promoter activity derived from cyanobacteria, is provided downstream of the sequence. A recombinant plasmid (pAEN1) incorporating a coding gene group, Transformed cyanobacterium Synechococcus spp. Containing it (FER MP-15189), and a method for producing poly-β-hydroxybutyric acid by culturing the transformed cyanobacteria Synechococcus sp.
