(57) Abstract: An epoxy resin having improved room temperature storage stability that does not adversely affect the curing time is provided. An epoxy resin composition containing 1-imidazolylmethyl-2-naphthols as a catalyst and an accelerator for curing an epoxy resin. (A) Epoxy resin; and (B) component (A) per 100 parts by weight of the formula (I) A storage-stable, fast-setting epoxy resin at a temperature of 110-150 ° C., comprising an amount of the compound represented by the formula 1- (2-methylimidazolylmethyl-2-naphthol) in the range of 2-25 parts by weight.
