abstract |
(57) Abstract: To provide a resinoid dicing blade that realizes consistent precision cutting with less chipping, prolongs the life of the resinoid blade, and does not sacrifice precision cutting characteristics. Provides resinoid / diamond blades that are less expensive than blades. An annular veil made of a nonwoven material for forming a first layer of a multi-layer blade impregnated with a mixture of diamond particles blended with a phenolic resin, and a nonwoven fabric impregnated with a mixture of diamond resin blended with a phenolic resin. At least a second layer comprising material and overlying the first layer, the first and second layers being compressed to a diameter of 2-5 inches and a thickness of at least 5 mils (0.127 mm). A multi-layer resinoid diamond blade in which the composite multi-layer graphite / diamond / resin blade 10 of is formed. |
