titleOfInvention Charge / discharge method of secondary battery having positive electrode containing organic disulfide compound
abstract (57) Abstract: In a charge / discharge method of a secondary battery having a composite electrode containing an organic disulfide compound as a positive electrode, good charge / discharge cycle characteristics are obtained without impairing the high energy density of the organic disulfide compound. The purpose is to provide a method of A composite electrode in which a composition containing an organic disulfide compound and polyaniline is supported on a support made of metallic copper or silver, or a composition containing an organic disulfide compound, polyaniline and metallic copper or silver is used as a conductive support. The secondary battery having the supported composite electrode is charged / discharged at a rate of 110% or more and 220% or less of the electrical capacity, which exceeds the electrical capacity calculated from the amount of the organic disulfide compound in the positive electrode. Copper or silver, which is one of the constituent components of the composite electrode, has a function of forming a complex with an organic disulfide compound by a charge / discharge reaction, dissolving it in an electrolyte, and preventing it from being dissipated from the positive electrode. According to this charging / discharging method, the above action due to the complex formation is effectively exhibited.
