abstract | (57) Abstract: A photographic element containing a high chloride tabular grain emulsion having excellent sharpness is provided. A photosensitive photographic element comprising a support and chemically and spectrally sensitized emulsions (A) and (B), said emulsion (A) comprising two or more grains each. It has an aspect ratio and includes a core portion and a peripheral zone portion containing a larger amount of bromide ion or iodide ion than the amount present in the core portion, and the amount of silver contained in the zone portion is the amount of silver in the grain. 30% or less of the silver halide tabular grain emulsion population, said emulsion (B) comprising A photographic element containing 0 mol% or more chloride and defined by {100} major faces. |
