titleOfInvention Photoconductor for electrophotography with improved cycling stability and oil resistance.
abstract Kind Code: A1 A photoconductor for use in an electrophotographic reproducing apparatus, which has excellent cycling stability and good oil resistance when used with a liquid toner. SOLUTION: A phthalocyanine dye dispersed in a medium molecular weight polyvinyl chloride binder, specifically, an X-type phthalocyanine containing no metal is used in the charge generation layer, and a charge transfer molecule dispersed in a polyester carbonate binder is used in the charge transfer layer. Specifically, hydrazones such as DEH were used.
