titleOfInvention | Acetic acid purification method |
abstract | (57) Abstract: A reaction product gas 1 containing acetic acid, which is obtained by reacting ethylene and oxygen in the gas phase in the presence of a catalyst and water, is used to efficiently and efficiently concentrate concentrated purified acetic acid using a simple device. To obtain high quality recovered raw material gas. A reaction product gas (1) is introduced into a separation column (2), an azeotropic agent (3) that forms a minimum azeotropic mixture with water is supplied to the separation column (2), and the heat generated by the reaction product gas (1) is used for distillation. A separation column bottom liquid 10 rich in acetic acid is obtained from the bottom of the column. The separation tower overhead gas 4 is cooled and separated into a non-condensed gas 9 and a condensate, and the non-condensed gas 9 is recovered as an absorption tower overhead gas 27 after being washed with acetic acid in the absorption tower. Both the separation column bottom liquid 10 and the absorption column bottom liquid 28 are distilled in the distillation column 11 in the presence of the azeotropic agent 21 to obtain concentrated purified acetic acid 30 from the column bottom. |
