abstract |
(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] Manufacturing variations and secular changes are detected by detecting at least the current driving capability of semiconductor elements in the internal circuit and correcting the slew rate of the output buffer according to the detected current driving capability. It prevents the slew rate of the output buffer from changing due to operating temperature conditions, and thus prevents malfunctions due to simultaneous switching noise and ground bounce. [Structure] A weak signal from an internal circuit P2 is sent to a semiconductor substrate P3. Output buffer P for current amplification as a signal output by 1. An output buffer compensating circuit including 1, detecting means P4 for detecting at least the current driving capability of the semiconductor element in the internal circuit P2 in the same substrate P3, and current driving capability detected by the detecting means P4. And a correction means P5 for correcting the slew rate of the output buffer P1 in accordance with the above. |
