abstract | (57) [Summary] [Purpose] The production of electrophotographic photoreceptors which have a long pot life of the coating liquid and are free from white spots (or black spots), fog, decrease in density, transfer memory and the like. In an electrophotographic photoreceptor having an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer laminated on a conductive support, the intermediate layer is made of titanium or aluminum having a chelate group of acetoacetic ester or β-diketone and an alkoxy group.
