abstract (57) [Summary] (Modified) [Purpose] To provide a device that takes out items such as contact lens sections from the manufacturing line and conveys them to the inspection station and the packing station. [Structure] Transport the lens through the inspection station, Place the lens in the width of the clear plastic primary package. The lenses are removed from the pallets at the post-hydration station, transported, re-fed in three dimensions and placed in the primary package on top of the second set of pallets. Fill the package above the second set of pallets with degassed deionized water. Transport contact lenses and packages to the inspection station. After inspection, the lens and package are transported to a water removal assembly and to another transfer assembly. Separate the lenses that passed the inspection from the failed lenses and place the passed lenses in the integrated package. Then fill the lens and package with salt water and seal the foil label into the primary package.
