(57) [Summary] [Purpose] A novel human intracellular trafficking regulatory protein (human CLA) P protein), a gene encoding the protein, an expression vector for expressing the protein, a cell transformed with such an expression vector, an antibody that binds to the protein, and the like. [Constitution] Regarding human chromosome 8, a large number of cosmid clones were isolated and the position on the chromosome was determined. From these clones, those containing exons were selected and their sequences were determined. From among these clones, novel clones having a nucleotide sequence encoding an amino acid sequence similar to the mouse intracellular trafficking control protein were selected. Based on this sequence, a gene encoding a novel intracellular trafficking control protein was cloned from a human fetal brain cDNA library and its structure was determined. |
