titleOfInvention | How to paint wood |
abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Objective] The present invention proposes a novel coating method for preventing deterioration of wood products used outdoors by sunlight and wind and rain, and improving durability. [Structure] After treating wood with a composition comprising a specific hydrophilic compound and an isocyanate compound, a polyurethane-based paint containing a resin having a hydrogenated polybutadiene skeleton as a main component is applied. [Effect] Since the hydrophilic compound and the isocyanate compound of the present invention penetrate into the wood and undergo reaction curing, swelling and shrinkage due to moisture absorption and release of water are eliminated, and a hydrogenated polybutadiene skeleton having rubber elasticity is further provided. By coating a polyurethane-based paint whose main component is resin, dimensional stability is increased and the adhesion between wood and the coated surface is improved, so even after long-term outdoor exposure, coating cracks, peeling, or warpage of the board Is less. |
