[Structure] An aqueous solution of an organic acid is contacted with a supercritical or subcritical extraction gas or fluid to extract an organic acid containing a small amount of water, and then separated from the extraction gas or fluid. A method for concentrating an organic acid aqueous solution, which yields a high-concentration organic acid aqueous solution.
