titleOfInvention Method for isomerizing phenylcyclohexane compound
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A method of isomerizing a cis form of a phenylcyclohexane compound into a trans form using a photoisomerization reaction. [Effect] Since the cis isomer, which has been an unnecessary substance up to now, is also used as a raw material, the yield is good, and the synthesis efficiency is greatly improved in time and economically as compared with the conventional production method. Further, by selecting the condition from the mixture of the cis isomer and the trans isomer, it is possible to substantially make only the trans isomer, so that the separation step can be omitted.
