abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] In a battery having a thin portion that is an explosion-proof mechanism in a gasket, the electrolyte is prevented from leaking to the outside of the battery through a gas vent hole in the sealing portion, and the leakage resistance is improved. A water-repellent polymer film 10 having gas permeability in the sealing body 5 but blocking permeation of a liquid is provided between an annular washer 8 and a gasket 7, and at least an outer peripheral portion of the water-repellent polymer film. The inner peripheral portion is sandwiched between the gasket and the annular washer and is crimped and sealed. As a result, gas is generated inside the battery, the internal pressure of the battery rises, and even if the safety valve of the thin-walled part that is the explosion-proof mechanism operates, only the gas inside the battery is discharged, and the leakage of the electrolyte solution to the outside of the battery is prevented. It is possible to obtain a battery having high liquid leakage resistance. |
