abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] A two-component developer containing a toner and a carrier. The toner contains toner particles, and the toner particles contain a fixing resin having an anionic polar group and a predetermined ratio of magnetic powder. Spacer particles are attached to the surfaces of the toner particles, and further metal stearate is attached. The core particles are made of a specific magnetic material having concave portions on the surface. The coating layer is made of a resin composition containing a thermosetting resin and a thermoplastic resin, fills at least the concave portions of the core particles, and covers 0.1 to 60% of the surface area of the core particles. [Effect] A two-component developer containing no charge control agent is provided. Such a developer has sufficient chargeability, toner does not scatter during copying, transfer efficiency is sufficient, and a copy image having a required density can be stably obtained for a long time. The fixability of the transferred image is also sufficient. Further, the toner is unlikely to adhere to the photosensitive member, the surface of the obtained copy image has high smoothness, and a glossy copy image can be obtained. |
