titleOfInvention Toner for two-component developer
abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] A two-component developer toner comprising toner particles containing a fixing resin and magnetic powder dispersed in the resin. The fixing resin is a composition containing a resin having an anionic polar group. The resin contains a low molecular weight copolymer and a high molecular weight copolymer containing styrene and a monomer having an anionic polar group, and the composition ratio of styrene in the low molecular weight copolymer is 70% or less. The magnetic powder is contained in the toner particles in a ratio of 0.1 to 5 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the fixing resin. [Effect] A toner containing no charge control agent, which causes the main occurrence of spent during copying, is provided. Such a toner has sufficient chargeability, the toner does not scatter during copying, the transfer efficiency is sufficient, and a copy image having a required density can be stably obtained for a long time. Furthermore, the poor charging due to the spent on the particle surface of the carrier of styrene, which is a low molecular weight substance having a strong negative charge tendency, can be eliminated, and the charging of the toner can be stabilized for a long period of time. A longer life can be achieved.
