(57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a conductive side chain type liquid crystal compound and an alignment film using the same. [Structure] A conductive side chain type liquid crystal compound obtained by introducing a compound exhibiting liquid crystallinity into a main chain composed of an acetylene or thiophene derivative and an alignment film using the compound. [Effect] Since it has both conductivity and liquid crystallinity and is soluble in most organic solvents, it has excellent processability and can be easily used not only as an alignment film but also as a polymer film for gas separation. |
