abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] 2,3-dihydrobenzofuran derivative or its non-toxic salt shows high affinity for serotonin 1A receptor, and thus anxiolytic, antidepressant, eating disorder improving agent, blood pressure. It is useful as a pharmaceutical composition for treating serotonin nervous system-related diseases such as anti-depressants and anti-emetics (including anti-motion sickness agents, anti-space sickness agents, anti-vertigo agents, drug-induced emesis inhibitors, etc.). [Structure] Formula (1) (Wherein, R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, R 2 Is a naphthyl group, a pyridyl group, a furyl group or a thienyl group, n is an integer of 2 to 6, A is a carbonyl group or a sulfonyl group, and * is an asymmetric carbon atom. A dihydrobenzofuran derivative or a non-toxic salt thereof, a method for producing the same, and a pharmaceutical composition for treating serotonin nervous system-related diseases, which comprises a therapeutically effective amount thereof.
