titleOfInvention | Novel λ-modified crystal of pentaerythritol tetrakis- [3- (3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionate] and a method for producing the same |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a novel λ-modified crystal and a method for producing the same. Composition: Pentaerythritol tetrakis- [3- (3, characterized by certain X-ray diffraction patterns, such as having very high intensity lines at interplanar spacings of 5.24, 8.4 and 12.4Å. , 5-di-tert-butyl-4- [Lambda] -modified crystals of hydroxyphenyl) propionate], and a method for producing the above [lambda] -modified crystals by a melting method of heating at a predetermined temperature. The λ-modified crystal of the present invention is useful as a seed crystal in the completely solvent-free crystallization method of the propionate, and can be easily obtained by the method of the present invention. |
