abstract (57) [Summary] [Structure] In a non-aqueous electrolyte battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode using lithium as an active material, a non-aqueous electrolyte comprising a solvent and a solute, and a separator, the solvent is cyclic carbonic acid. A mixed solvent of 5 to 50% by volume of ester, 5 to 50% by volume of chain ester carbonate, and 40 to 80% by volume of ether is used. [Effect] Since the solvent of the non-aqueous electrolyte is a mixed solvent having a specific composition, it is difficult to form a film on the surface of the negative electrode, and the resistance of the interface between the surface of the negative electrode and the non-aqueous electrolyte is small. Therefore, the battery of the present invention can extract a large current even at a low temperature and has a large discharge capacity at a low temperature.
