abstract (57) [Summary] [Objective] To provide a deodorant that absorbs a bad odor such as ammonia, amines or mercaptans. [Composition] Rice straw, wheat straw, stalks of syrup, stalks of bamboo shoots, crushed plants such as bamboo leaves, or sawdust are impregnated with an aqueous solution of ferrous salt alone or with a mixed solution of ferrous salt and cupric salt. A deodorant characterized by being formed, a deodorant structure bag in which the deodorant is stored in a bag-shaped non-woven fabric or Japanese paper, Sand for treating pet animal excrement and urine, which is a sand-like mixture of the deodorant and granular bentonite.
