Novel protein having cancer metastasis inhibitory activity and gene encoding the protein |
abstract |
(57) [Summary] [Purpose] In order to be able to directly and highly efficiently produce a cancer metastasis-inhibiting protein, which was previously possible only by combining chemical synthesis and conjugation methods, by gene recombination techniques. The present invention provides a synthetic gene and a cancer metastasis inhibitory protein produced by using the synthetic gene. [Structure] A novel protein in which a peptide having cancer metastasis inhibitory activity is bound to the carboxyl terminal (C-terminal) of serum albumin protein, and in particular, it is frequently used in Schizosaccharomyces pombe cells of the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe. A gene encoding the above protein designed and synthesized using the codon, and a method for producing the above protein by the gene recombination technique using the gene. |
