abstract | (57) Summary Disclosed are vasopressin analogs of formula (I). Where X is (S) -2-amino-2-methyl-butyric acid (CĪ±MeAbu) or valine (Val), Y is thienylalanine (Thi) or methionine (Met), and Z is D-phenylalanine. (D-Phe), D-thienylalanine (Thi), or D-tyrosine (D-Tyr).) A pharmaceutical preparation comprising the vasopressin analog of the present invention as an active ingredient is disclosed. Formulations and intravenous formulations are exemplified. The vasopressin analogs of the present invention are intended for use as pharmaceuticals, especially antidiuretics. This antidiuretic agent is preferably used for the treatment of diabetes insipidus or enuresis. |
