(57) [Summary]nA method for aiding periodontal tissue regeneration with a composition comprising a bioabsorbable polymer, a leachable solvent and a bioavailable drug active agent. The compositions useful in these methods are characterized by becoming harder on contact with the periodontal tissue so that the composition is effective in assisting tissue regeneration, yet releasing a therapeutically effective amount of the drug active agent.
