abstract | (57) [Summary]nA method and apparatus for quantifying biguanides in a water fluid, such as water of a swimming pool, is described that comprises contacting the water fluid with a matrix incorporating a pH sensitive indicator that exhibits a biguanide error effect. To eliminate the effects of pH changes on the test system, buffers are advantageously used to maintain the test system in a limited and constant pH range. |
