(57) [Summary]nThe composite metal product includes a roll cast aluminum alloy core material and a filler material bonded to the core material. From this product, the filler-bonded assembly heats the filler until it flows into the joint and then solidifies the filler in the joint. Composite products are made in several ways, including laminating with rollers of a roll casting machine and laminating or thermal spraying on the exit side of the roll casting machine. The present invention further provides an angled rolling method for varying the clad ratio of a composite, and a high manganese aluminum alloy useful as a core material for brazing sheet cladding having an aluminum-silicon brazing alloy. . |
