titleOfInvention | Water-soluble film used for synthetic cast tape |
abstract | (57) [Summary] The present invention provides a novel casting tape incorporating a water-soluble liner. The liner of the present invention may be used for a number of purposes, including the following: Use as an intermediate layer in a casting tape to prevent undesired retention of resin; casting tape when immersed in water. As an intermediate liner for smoothing; decorative by either preventing layer-to-layer transfer of colored resin or transferring a preprinted pattern on the liner to an adjacent casting tape A method of making a casting tape that is easy to use; as an intermediate liner in a casting article to prevent adhesion of the articles between adjacent layers; and easy removal of the roll of casting tape from the package To be used as a release liner. The liner used in the present invention dissolves rapidly in water and is provided as a continuous or semi-continuous sheet structure. |
