abstract (57) Summary A method and device used to insert an implant for treatment of an eye with glaucoma to reduce intraocular pressure in the eye. This implant (38) is an artificial network. The implant (38) is attached to a guide knife (10) that is inserted into the anterior chamber (56) of the eye (50). This knife (10) is then removed and the implant (38) remains in place. During surgery, a prism lens (74) with a C-shaped vacuum ring (70) is used to help the surgeon view and stabilize the anterior chamber of the eye.
