abstract | (57) [Summary]nLightweight absorbent foams are obtained using high discontinuous phase emulsions (HIPE). At this time, in the production of HIPE, capillary viscosity measurement is used as an in-line diagnostic method for the quality. In-line diagnostics provide measurements of viscosity gradient and viscosity magnitude. These measurements provide several advantages in monitoring emulsion quality without the need for sampling, including stable and accurate measurements of hardware independent parameters for overall flow. |
