(57) [Summary]nCompositions containing aminopolyamide epichlorohydridophosphate resins having up to 0.7% total organically bound chlorine based on the weight of the resin are useful as wet strength enhancers for paper. The composition further comprising a polyol, a monoalkyl ether of a polyol, and / or a polyalkylene glycol is useful as an additive in coating formulations. The amount of total organically bound chlorine present is controlled by the process parameters. |
