(57) [Summary]nProvided are methods and agents for diagnosing and treating pathological conditions associated with abnormalities of dopamine receptors. This method involves administering to a patient having such a condition an oligonucleotide that is antisense to one or more RNA molecules that encode one of several dopamine receptors. Antisense oligonucleotides specifically bind to the expression control sequences of such RNA molecules, thereby selectively controlling the expression of one or more dopamine receptor subtypes and directing such expression. Relieve related pathologies. |
