(57) Abstract: A multilayer graphic article (10) comprises a support, one or more color layers (12) disposed on the support (16), and a protective surface layer overlying the support and the color layers. It consists of (18). The color layer is visible through the surface layer and consists of a colorant in a copolymer binder. The binder is a copolymerization product of an olefin monomer and a second monomer having a pendant carboxyl group. The support may be a polymer film, an adhesive, or a temporary release liner. The protective surface layer may be formulated to provide interior protection properties to the graphic article, or to render the graphic article weather resistant and resistant to chemical exposure. |
