abstract | (57) [Summary]nDisclosed are methods of improving the specific binding reactivity of a polypeptide so that the polypeptide is capable of complexing. The method comprises contacting the polypeptide with an anionic surfactant capable of dissociating the polypeptide under conditions suitable to dissociate at least some of the polypeptide. The polypeptide is then contacted with a nonionic surfactant capable of complexing with an anionic surfactant under conditions suitable to keep at least some of the dissociated polypeptide held dissociated. . Also disclosed is a method of analyzing a sample containing a complexable polypeptide. |
