abstract | (57) [Summary]nPolyurea, polyamide, polysulfonamide, polyester, polycarbonate or polyurethane outer shell or shell wall, high concentration microcapsules containing pesticides, vinylpyrrolidone to form a stable oil-in-water emulsion under the conditions described A composition comprising a random co- or terpolymer suspended in an aqueous liquid containing an emulsifier, as well as a liquid phase water immiscible pesticide to be encapsulated, is mixed with the first shell wall component in the aqueous liquid. To form an oil-in-water emulsion, and then add the second shell wall component to the emulsion to cause the first shell wall component to react with the second shell wall component to be encapsulated around the harmful component control agent, which is the polycondensate shell. It forms the skin of the wall, or otherwise, when the first shell wall component is an isocyanate or a mixture thereof, hydrolyses the first shell component in the emulsion to form amine groups. By reacting it with residual isocyanate to form the shell wall of polyurea, the suspension can be used directly as an aqueous suspension, or dried to give a water-dispersible formulation of microcapsules. A method of making the composition that can be formed. |
