(57) [Abstract] [Purpose] An organic electroluminescent device with high emission intensity and excellent stability during repeated use, and electrophotographic properties such as sensitivity, hole transportability, initial surface potential, and dark decay rate. Provided are a novel triphenylamine derivative useful for a good electrophotographic photoreceptor, a method for producing the same, and its use. [Structure] A triphenylamine derivative represented by the general formula [1], a method for producing the same, and an organic electroluminescent element and an electrophotographic photoreceptor using the compound as a hole transporting substance. Embedded image [In the formula, A 1 represents a triphenylamine compound residue which may have a substituted alkyl group, and A 2 represents a triphenylamine compound residue which may have a hydrogen atom or a substituted alkyl group. ] |
