abstract (57) Summary [Objective] To provide a method for controlling the release of an active substance or a drug from a silicone rubber matrix by controlling the degree of crosslinking in the silicone rubber matrix. The matrix comprises (A) a polyorganosiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups per molecule; (B) an organohydrogensiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule; and (C). A liquid silicone rubber containing a hydrosilylation catalyst in an amount sufficient to accelerate the curing of the composition is cured and prepared.
