abstract (57) Abstract: A method for efficiently producing Met-insulin-like growth factor I is provided. SOLUTION: Escherichia coli is transformed with an expression vector in which a first cistron containing a gene encoding another peptide and a second cistron containing a gene encoding IGF-I are ligated with an appropriate cistron ligation sequence. After culturing the obtained transformant under conditions suitable for gene expression, the cells were lysed, and the lysate obtained was used to prepare Met-IG. A method for producing Met-IGF-I, which comprises separating FI.
