abstract (57) [Abstract] [Purpose] To provide an ignition device for an internal combustion engine, which is made of synthetic resin parts having excellent mechanical properties and excellent flame retardancy. [Structure] In a synthetic resin part used for an ignition device for an internal combustion engine, the synthetic resin part comprises (A) 100 parts (part by weight, the same hereinafter) of an aromatic polyester resin, and (B) an aromatic alkenyl compound and a diene system. 3 to 150 parts of a block copolymer derived from a monomer and (C) an epoxy group- or oxazolinyl group-containing olefin polymer 3 to 12 It is made of a resin composition consisting of 0 part and 8 to 130 parts of the (D) flame retardant. The ignition device is, for example, an ignition coil 1, and the synthetic resin component is a coil case 11.
