titleOfInvention | Sulfated polysaccharide and method for producing the same |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Structure] A sulfated polysaccharide containing a structural unit moiety of at least 8 sugars having an affinity for hepatocyte growth factor, and a method for producing the same. [Effect] Since the sulfated polysaccharide of the present invention has a property of specifically binding to HGF, it can stabilize HGF or improve its proliferative activity. Further, known sulfated polysaccharides are known to suppress the degradation of heparin-binding growth factors such as HGF, and therefore, the sulfated polysaccharides of the present invention can be expected to have the same effect, for example, recombinant DNA. By adding the sulfated polysaccharide of the present invention to the culture medium when the heparin-binding growth factor is produced by the technique, the heparin-binding growth factor can be efficiently and highly produced from the culture supernatant. |
