abstract (57) [Summary] [Object] To provide a culturing device for microorganisms used for bacterial count inspection and the like, which is excellent in preservability, convenience in use and culturing performance, and is also capable of fishing. [Structure] A waterproof base sheet 1 and a water-impermeable and transparent cover film 6 covering the waterproof base sheet 1 are provided, and the water-absorbent resin layer 3 is provided on either or both of the inner surfaces. And the culture base layer 7 on the inner surface of either one of them. And the fibrous sheet 5a having a predetermined size to which a dye capable of metabolizing microorganisms is attached on the inner surface of the base sheet side. It is preferable to use polyethylene oxide for the water absorbent resin layer 3, and polyacrylamide is preferable for the binder of the culture substrate 7. When laminating the water-absorbent resin layer, if the adhesion is weak, an adhesive layer 2a or the like may be provided. The dye may be contained in the culture substrate 7, or may be laminated together with the water-soluble binder on the inner surface of the cover film as a single dye layer.
